First warm weather beach visit of the year!

Kieran and I went to our local beach for the first visit this spring - it's a 7 minute drive away on Dog Lake. We had the whole beach to ourselves on a lovely sunny morning.

We explored some new logs that are in the water this year.

Went to see what was new in the woods.

Tried out some spells with a wand we found from the top of a large stone outcropping.

I love how tenacious nature can be.

A large birch had fallen and there was a part of it that looked a bit like the painting 'The Scream'.

 All in all, a great morning out.
